This was a painting designed and created for entering into the 2019 Federal Duck Stamp contest. The whole step-by-step process of painting it was photographed and put into our short film, “Creating a Federal Duck Stamp” (on our YouTube channel). But… I also painted a wood duck to enter in the contest and because a person can only enter one painting into the contest, the wood duck was chosen. The rest is history…
